Fadil El Ghoul, born on 2 April 1986 in Den Bosch), better known by his stage name R3hab, is a Dutch - Moroccan DJ and record producer from Breda, North Brabant, Netherlands.

Starting as a teenager, he did exactly that, picking his nom de plume because "when you need something, you need rehab," styling his name as R3hab in order to make it more easily searchable online.

R3hab got his first break in the late 2000s, when a song he made with Hardwell, who went to his high school, reached the Top 40 in the Netherlands. By the early 2010s, he had caught the attention of Calvin Harris, the world's highest-paid DJ, and they collaborated on a song called "Burning" that appeared on Harris' album Motion.

Ranked at number 12 on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs in 2018, R3hab began his career in late 2007 while producing the track "Mrkrstft" which was remixed by fellow Breda DJ Hardwell. His connection with what was then a small scene of Dutch DJs helped him to grow. After releasing Prutataaa with Afrojack, he signed with Afrojack's label, producing and remixing tracks.

Released independently, his debut album Trouble has gained over 500m streams globally to date. R3hab's second full-length studio album received over 350 million plays, with tracks "Ain't That Why", "Hold On Tight", "The Wave" and "Lullaby" board Hot Dance/Electronic charts.

R3hab remixed ATC's 2000 single "Around The World (La La La)", which became his most streamed song on Spotify with over 142 million streams and features "A Touch of Class." The track topped the Spotify charts in eight countries and landed on the Global Viral Chart.

In 2019, R3hab joined an artist management company called Dancing Dragon Management under Live Nation Electronic Asia for an exclusive deal to spread in China. In 2019, Liquid State, a joint venture between Tencent and Sony Music, said at the All That Matters conference that it had signed R3hab to an Asian distribution deal. As part of the deal, he will be releasing new tracks through Liquid State that focus on the Asian market, while licensing his CYB3RPVNK label's music library of more than 190 tracks. On his current world tour, R3hab has performed in 116 concerts (as of 10.26.2019) and has featured Cash Cash and Alan Walker. 

R3HAB joins forces with Amba Shepherd for one of his most meaningful releases yet, "Smells Like Teen Spirit," out now on his imprint CYB3RPVNK. It's no small feat to take on such a legendary and iconic song, but R3HAB and Amba accomplish their modern dance version with finesse. Amba's famously gorgeous vocals serve as the forefront to a deep, sultry bassline and dark melodies, capturing the essence of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" in an indie-dance context. R3HAB and Amba both weigh in on the new release below:

Growing up, I heard all kinds of music. Some songs stuck out to me the way they became part of my youth. That's what exactly this song is for me. 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' has always been special for that reason. R3HAB's latest release sees him working alongside indie-pop singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt to deliver a sultry house track called "Family Values." This new single showcases the esteemed producer returning to his groovier roots. Equipped with a playful title and a relentless beat, "Family Values" offers the perfect energy for all the romantics out there.

R3HAB, Luis Fonsi and Sean Paul released an appealing music video for their "Pues" single via CYB3RPVNK/Universal Music.

'Pues' brings to mind dancing through warm summer nights in tropical locales with beautiful strangers. Part dance melody, part Latin-infused honey, the song has all the makings of being a summertime anthem for fans of both genres. Also, "Pues" is the catchiest of songs, one soaked with abundant sunshine, pulling listeners close and into a never-ending dance. Furthermore, "Pues" is not R3HAB's first venture into Latin pop.
